Garrett Stanifer

I am currently a junior at IUPUI pursuing a B.S. degree in cybersecurity. I hope to learn all about the security side of the internet as well as how to protect myself and others from cybercrime. This field will provide an exciting, yet challenging work environment due to the constant change in technology. The internet is a major part of our daily lives now whether you like it or not, so the need to protect yourself from the dangers of the internet will continue to grow exponentially.

I am very proficient in the Windows operating systems as well as some basic Linux. I'm well versed in the programming languages of Python, C++ and Java. Experienced with development with HTML and CSS, as well as MySQL for database management. I have sufficient training in GIT version control and well as some virtualization experience using Oracle VM VirtualBox. Other proficiencies include both Microsoft Office Suite and the Google Suite.
